Really loving this newsletter in my inbox, Piera! I've been getting more creative with my yoga practice. Before it was very structured, same time, same place 5 days a week. Now i'm experimenting with different kinds of classes, different times of day, different locations, new poses--getting out of my comfort zone and trying more challenging classes. I even let me cat join me from time to time, instead of locking him out of my room haha.
Hi Tess! Glad you're enjoying it. I'm happy to get it going again in this new home. How has it been to be more experimental and creative in your practice? Sounds freeing to me but curious what the shift from structure to exploration feels for you. What is your cat's favorite yoga pose?
Definitely more freeing and I feel more in touch with my intuition. I'm getting out of the mentality that yoga is my "workout" and into the mindset that yoga is an exploration of my body and listening to what it needs, it's limits, etc. I've also started becoming more aware of my menstrual cycle and how it affects my energy, so during my period when I'm feeling low, I'll do more gentle, restorative classes. And my cat Archie LOVES Savasana haha.
Re: Sacred Texts, I save my friends and coworkers funniest messages, and then look through them when I'm feeling down. It always reminds me of some little inside joke that sparks joy.

Hi Vallen! So good to see your name pop up. It's been a while! I love this idea - inside jokes bring out our playful spirits for sure.
Love this and the community wander. Will join when there’s a moment. Trying to get two businesses up in between running after two kids. xo
Well that sounds like a superhuman feat you've got going at the moment! Would love to have you on a community wonder when you've got breathing room!
Love this and yes for the community wander.
I share the instinct to share food when times get tough. Mine is usually 🍕!
Let's do it!
And sharing pizza is <3 <3 <3
